Velkommen til åpning av TREDJE ROM - en gruppeutstilling kurateret av Fotogalleriets Ungdomsråd.
TREDJE ROM tar utgangspunkt i kulturteoretiker Homi K. Bhabhas begrep Third Space; et dynamisk mellomrom hvor identitet forhandles, grenser utfordres og nye former for fellesskap kan oppstå.
Med denne forståelsen har Ungdomsrådet bestående av Abdirahmaan Hasan, Esma Bouhaddouz, Hamda Barise, Selma Beyoglu og Karl Ian Centino undersøkt hvordan subkulturer, motkulturer, og alternative fellesskap tilrettelegger og opprettholder sine egne tredje rom.
Program for kvelden:

We welcome you to the opening of THIRD SPACE - an exhibition curated by Fotogalleriet's Youth Advisory Board.
The exhibition is inspired by cultural theorist Homi K. Bhabha’s concept of the Third Space – a dynamic in-between space where identity is negotiated, boundaries are challenged, and new forms of community can emerge.
Building on this framework, the Youth Council, consisting of Abdirahmaan Hasan, Esma Bouhaddouz, Hamda Barise, Selma Beyoglu, and Karl Ian Centino, has explored how subcultures, countercultures, and alternative communities create and sustain their own third spaces.
